This blog post is about a field trip my photography class took to Chattanooga, Tennessee during Fall break! Here is what we did during the four days we were there. Enjoy!
As I am always looking for a new coffee shop, I couldn't resist trying out the Frothy Monkey's rosemary latte. And it was soooo good. This cafe also serves food and bakery treats, and it has indoor and outdoor seating that looks upon Market Street. If you are ever in Chattanooga, this is definitely a go-to if you're an aspiring coffee connoisseur like myself.
On our first night there, my friend Sally and I snapped a few shots at the Walnut bridge. The bridge separates downtown Chattanooga, where you can find food, shopping, and most importantly, coffee shops.
My OOTD was one of my favorites from the week! My shoes and hat were from Target, my belt and shirt from Gap, my necklace from Nordstrom Rack, and my Levi's jeans were thrifted. To tie it all together, I added a denim jacket from American Eagle.
P.S. Check out Sally's photography business, she is responsible for most of the shots taken of me! https://www.sallyparkphotography.org/
Being in Chattanooga, you can't help but notice the natural beauty. Coming from Florida, I don't see mountains too often. The picture on the right was at Hemlock Falls where we hiked about a mile to get to a waterfall. The picture on the left was taken at Rock City on Lookout Mountain (I loved this especially because there was minimal hiking required to get there). It was a kid friendly path that took you through the mountain with this view and many others along the way. At this spot, we dined outside at the restaurant for that overlooked the mountain. I would suggest participating in both activities, as both of these views were stunning, and truly give you a sense of just how beautiful Chattanooga is!
If you want a little something sweet on your trip, stop by Clumpies! They have handcrafted ice cream along with bakery treats! It's $3 a scoop and definitely worth it.
